Co-Founder & Executive Director
Caitrin Conroy
Cait (she/her) is a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a family where the family dogs were lovingly referred to as “your brothers.” Professionally rooted in human health and medicine, she has made a meaningful impact through her work in advancing the field of organ donation, saving lives and strengthening communities.
Cait brings her passion for both people and pets to her volunteer work here at home in Prince George’s County, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Commission on Animal Control. She regularly fosters animals and actively engages with the community to listen, educate, and build stronger human-animal relationships.
She and her husband share their home with five rescue animals and have fostered dozens more. Inspired by her own challenges relocating to the county with a dog, Cait is committed to improving the experience of pet guardianship for all Prince George’s County residents.
